The innovative IPS e.max ZirCAD zirconium oxide material is characterized by high stability, flexural strength and fracture toughness in addition to natural esthetics. This allows the production of restorations with significantly reduced wall thicknesses for minimally invasive preparations. The range of indications includes crowns and bridges as well as implant-supported superstructures.
Laboratories can use IPS e.max ZirCAD to produce esthetic bridges. They can either use a veneering technique or use a monolithic variant, such as IPS e.max ZirCAD MT Multi. The natural progression of shade and translucency of the polychromatic material maximizes the esthetic effect of monolithic crowns and bridges without necessitating the application of characterizations and optimizes the efficiency.
SpeedCEM Plus is the ideal luting material for restorations made of IPS e.max ZirCAD. SpeedCEM Plus is a self-adhesive, self-curing resin cement with optional light-curing. It offers an easy clean-up procedure and enables an efficient cementation procedure.
For chairside applications, the range of materials has now been extended to contain blocks (e.g. for CEREC*) in additional A–D shades. The LT material (low translucency) is now available in the eight most popular shades.
