Are you looking for a way to create highly esthetic restorations with a lifelike shade and fluorescence progression from the dentin to the enamel in a single press cycle? Then read on to learn more about the polychromatic IPS e.max Press Multi ingot. It has been developed especially for this purpose.
Press in multicolour – glaze – done!
IPS e.max Press Multi is ideally suitable for the fabrication of monolithic anterior and posterior crowns, hybrid abutment crowns and veneers. In only one press cycle you can achieve restorations with heightened chroma in the cervical and dentin region and with incisal areas that are suitably translucent. The polychromatic restorations are efficiently pressed in the intelligent, user-friendly Programat EP 3010 or EP 5010 press furnaces using a novel processing procedure and are subsequently glazed.
There is no need to follow time-consuming layering methods. The results are restorations with a vibrant, lively naturalness.
Particularly in the restoration of posterior teeth, IPS e.max crowns have convinced users for years due to their high accuracy of fit and high flexural strength of 400 MPa. The lithium disilicate glass-ceramic material enables you to significantly reduce the layer thickness if necessary. As a result, extremely conservative cavity preparation is possible. The possibility of multi-coloured pressing, which allows the desired esthetics to be achieved in a single press sequence with subsequent glazing, ensures maximum cost-effectiveness of the laboratory procedures.
IPS e.max Press also meets the demands of the ongoing trend towards digitization. With the software add-on “Digital Press Design – Press Multi” of Wieland Dental + Technik GmbH & Co KG, you can automatically position the sprues at the virtual IPS e.max Press Multi restoration. The objects which are either milled of a ProArt Wax Disc for Zenotec yellow or 3D printed are invested und the restorations are subsequently pressed in the Programat press furnace.
If desired, the restorations can be customized using the IPS Ivocolor stains and glazes and/or IPS e.max Ceram veneering ceramics.
