New ionization system
The main innovative feature of this milling unit is its ionization system. Special nozzles direct ionized compressed air onto the tools and materials during the machining process. The ionized air neutralizes the static charge of acrylic particles during milling. Subsequently, the particles are easy to evacuate.
Digital manufacturing process
The eight-disc material changer has been successfully used in other milling units of the Zenotec select range. It allows materials to be managed fully automatically. A suitable disc is selected on the basis of the milling task at hand and then fed into the process. The tools, systems, software programs, materials and machinery have been specially developed for milling acrylic materials. As a result, the digital manufacturing process is fully integrated. Complete dentures, bite templates, try-ins, surgical guides, occlusal splints and PMMA restorations can be fabricated.
Up to 70 per cent faster
The customized tools for Zenotec select ion are strong and versatile and reduce the milling time by up to 70 per cent. Therefore, acrylics and similar synthetic materials can be efficiently and reliably processed.
