Press ingots and CAD blocks: The key to choosing the appropriate shade!
Do you find it challenging to determine the most suitable block or ingot for your restorations? If so, you may find the two new combination tables to be very helpful.
You may be familiar with this situation in your laboratory: You would like to select the most suitable press ingot or CAD block, but find it difficult to determine the correct shade. Unfortunately, you do not have a tool to assist you in making this decision. The available shade charts may help to a certain extent. Nevertheless, you still have difficulty in choosing the shade.
Attain your goal quickly
Effective immediately, you can consult two new combination tables. They show either all the press ingots of IPS e.max Press or all the CAD blocks of IPS e.max CAD in one chart. As a result, you can now easily select a suitable block or ingot on the basis of the desired tooth shade and the established preparation shade.
Supplement to the shade selection wheel
The new combination tables supplement the established shade selection wheel. They include the latest additions to the product portfolio. The existing, proven assortment has been recently extended: an MT block has been added to the IPS e.max CAD range and an MT and an innovative Multi ingot have been added to the IPS e.max Press assortment.
Successful interplay of many factors
The esthetic overall result in the fabrication of all-ceramic restorations is influenced by many different factors. Furthermore, the optical influence of the preparation shade on the result must not be underestimated in the manufacture of high-quality, esthetic restorations. Severely stained prepared teeth and non-tooth-coloured build-ups require particular attention.
